Previously on Blah Blah Blah we have featured the increasingly influential Australian analog duo Sleep D, and of course everyones favourite Future Bass hero – Flume. One underground and the other a Grammy award winner. Yet despite their obvious contrasts they and todays focus ‘Hugh B – I Just Fee Like [Sean Thomas Remix]’ collectively represent the same thing. A vibrant and flourishing Australian dance music scene.

‘Hugh B – I Just Feel Like [Sean Thomas Remix] taken from his ‘Floating On A Trippy Biscuit EP’ is a record Sleep D would have been proud of. Rolling analog sounding Techno template, lush swirling pads, subby bassline all crowned with a sparkling lead synth hook. As to whether Hugh B and co recorded with a similarly live analog setup is unknown, although the records distinctly improvised feel, loose grooves and rich sonics suggest it was.
