With over 40,000 streams of his improvised Live & Locked Down show on Facebook and drawing acclaim from legends such as Nick Warren, Rob Da Bank and DJ EZ, TR aka Tom Robinson has gone from the bedroom to the main-room.

The ‘Hardcore’ EP, like every TR record, started life as a live jam before becoming a fully composed piece of music. It’s this creative organic flow that makes his music utterly engaging and unique to him. And whilst you could draw comparisons to artists such as Ross from Friends, Four Tet, and John Talabot, it’s not really worth the effort as TR is very much his own man.

The Hardcore EP further establishes this personal sound in which complexity, imagination and originality again combine to create beats that are simply great – you can crank it up and dance or dial it down and unwind – so good!
