I was sent through a track by Jaymo today. You may know Jaymo as resident and founder of Lincoln superclub Moda aswell as Radio 1’s newest DJ signing alongside Andy George.
These young fidget upstarts are causing quite a stir in the midlands and their dabbles in production have been very well received indeed. I’ll hand you over to the Moda team to introduce their latest release called “On The Grind”.
After topping the Juno charts with the first Moda Music release, the time has come to deliver another slice of electronic goodness! For MODA 002 we keep it in our hugely talented family, with Jaymo’s ‘On The Grind’. This bass-heavy banger has already been rocking the MODA dancefloor for some time and promises to do the same in nightclubs. bedrooms and iPods the world over.
Things are really taking off for both Moda and Jaymo. In the past 2 weeks not only did we launch the Annie Mac Presents tour at Lincolns Engine Shed, Jaymo has just started his BBC Radio 1 show alongside his Moda cohort Andy George! You can catch the boys on the first Friday of each month as part of In New DJ’s We Trust!
