What is the most played christmas song ever?
It’s well known that classic Christmas songs make their composers and record labels mega bucks – but which is the most played and how much dollar does it rake in?
To answer these questions we’ll focus on the modern era of Spotify, original compositions only, sorry Sam, Buble et al and hopefully identify the Top 25 Most Played Christmas Songs Ever. Whilst this figure doesn’t account for plays on other streaming platforms, historic physical sales and radio play it should still give us a fairly conclusive list, but rest assured we will be checking it twice.
Admittedly this is not usual Blah Blah Blah territory, but hey it’s not exactly been a typical year, plus we were just curious and figured why not share our curiosity…
Note: Average per play on Spotify is 0.002 pence.

But for now Mariah Carey is still jingling all the way to the bank.
