Best Electronic Remixes Ever, but what is the best remix ever?

So before we get started what are the criteria for inclusion. Firstly the remix must be an officially commissioned and released track, no random mashups or free Soundcloud downloads. Secondly it must be a remix that has demonstrated its ability to stand the test of time i.e. a bonifidy classic, which means anything in the last 3-4 years has largely been ignored as insufficient time has passed in order to verify it’s durability. And finally it must be a remix that has transcended its audience and banging, i.e. a track that has gathered significant cross genre appeal…So if we say “remix” and you say “Tori Amos – Professional Widow (Armand Van Helden)” then its safe to assume we are all in the right place.

So what is the greatest remix ever? Tough to be that specific but if our life depended on it we’d go with either AVH remix of ‘Professional Widow’ or Skream’s huge ravey version of ‘In for the Kill’. That said we also love Ramadanman’s aka Pearson Sounds rework of ‘Night Air’ – glorious.
