Its fair to say that Basement Jaxx’s light has dimished a little of recent years with their most recent albums ‘Crazy Itch Radio’ and ‘Scars’ not quite having the same impact as ‘Remedy’, ‘Rooty’ and ‘Kish Kash’, consequently it would seem that they decided to go back to their DJ roots for 2010, culminating in an a really enjoyable party centric Essential Mix.
