Who ever said Phil Collins wasnt cool? Well there’s definitely something in the air tonight with this little beast reverberating around my studio. Tom Flynn has been turning heads with his bumping take on House music since being voted producer of the year by Pete Tong in 2010. Since then he has gone on to release on Anabatic, Dirtybird and Hypercolour. For his next release he has teamed up with the rejuvenated Dave Spoon aka Shadow Child also of Dirtybird fame and combined they have produced what can only be described as a missed opportunity for messrs Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin.
Both tracks ‘Giant Woo’ and ‘Drive Hero’ are aimed squarely at those of you who cant get enough of that bouncing Eats Everything, Justin Martin type sound, employing tight snapping drums, smooth booty bass and a myriad of addicitve repetitious vocal and synth stabs, handle with care when this drops Nov 5th on Deleted Records.
