Om Unit and Reso are not normally the type of artists we would religiously follow, this is not to say that they dont deserve our love, just that their style is not generally quite what we are into as DJs and writers. Having said that we are always looking to broaden our musical horizons and this remix has done just that.
Om Unit has taken Reso’s tranquil cinematic original and injected an increased level of urgency whilst also giving the sub layers and 80 style synths more presence in the mix, creating what I can only describe as the perfect backdrop for that classic 80’s look at Cities of the future, sprawling urban decay and neon decadence. Ridley Scott take notice for Blade Runner II.
