After a long and fruitless day of sifting through emails, scouring Soundcloud and various other portals of new music Id almost given up hope of finding anything worth talking about….until a chance Beatport encounter.
Deadboy is not someone we have talked about before, although we have been aware of him since the excellent ‘If You Want Me’ was released on Numbers in 2010. Well he’s back on Numbers again and this time he has served up a 3 track EP featuring the instantly gratifying disco tinged houser ‘Wish U Were Here’ alongside two less immediate but by no means inferior underground bass sounding tracks ‘Here 4 U’ and ‘Aint Gonna Lie’.
Overall a fine EP that will no doubt find its way into many a playlist.
