Aus Music’s founder Will Saul is currently applying the finishing touches to his debut LP under his ‘Close’ alias. Getting Closer is due for release via the ‘DJ Kicks’ home, !K7 Records, later this month. For the more knowledgeable among you, you are no doubt aware that Will Saul has been releasing defining house records since the early 2000’s, however in the last few years it has been his Aus Music imprint that has been setting the pace, with breaking releases coming from Joy Orbison, Ramadanman, SCB, George Fitzgerald, Midland, Bicep and Dusky.

Getting Closer is preceded by the ‘Beam Me Up’ Scuba collaboration, which also boasts remixes from George Fitzgerald, Scuba himself and Hercules & Love Affair. Ftizgerald and Scuba both give this glistening record a solid injection of dance floor resonance, whilst Hercules & Love Affair dispense with their disco traditions in favour of a more rich analog acidic version. The whole EP deserves you attention, however for us the Hercules version leads the way. Stream the original and Fitzgerald remix below.
