As press releases go, the one Norman Records received this morning via Warp Records would appear to be one of the few actually worth receiving. No, “spectral harmonies bring the track home, completing a whole that is as floor-ready as it is mesmeric”, instead just curious ‘Product Information’ ambiguity that will soon, no doubt, be followed by equally curious ambiguity in the shape of new ‘official’ Aphex Twin music…hopefully. If not, we still love the idea of sending a random press release with no immediate explanation attached. Bravo Warp and Aphex Twin, our faith in the value of the press release has been restored…
