Glade Festival kicks off in just over 2 weeks, running June 14th – 17th and as we have mentioned in previous posts Glade is dishing up one of the finest, diverse and creative festivals of 2012. Not only is the line up something to savour with the likes of Sven Vath, Rusko, Boddika, Eats Everything, Marcel Dettmann, Mosca among many others in attendance, but they are also putting their creative juices to the test with a number of imaginative art installations that also double up as DJ arenas. In particular the Meteor and Pyromid Stage deserve a special mention.
The Meteor Stage is located within a woodland crater, where a hexagonal landing platform or dancefloor is overlooked by a suspended UFO shaped DJ Booth, whilst the Pyromid Stage is apparently inspired by a Polish mathematician and is made up of 625 smaller pyramids with a DJ nestled in the middle and projections beamed on its outer walls. All sounds pretty special, and it can all be yours for free (see below).
