Roman Flügel remix: Lawrence – Clouds & Arrows

Searching for quality dance records is often a time consuming and frustrating past-time. Thankfully the web is littered with quality curators, from which blogs such as ourselves can resource and find new music worth talking about. On this occasion it was the Fabric Mix series and Roman Flugel’s – Fabric 95 that came to the rescue, revealing his self penned ‘Clouds & Arrows’ remix. A record we would have otherwise missed.

Here Roman draws upon his more melodic sound, reminiscent of his 2014 ‘Happiness is Happening’ LP. Incisive beats, house groove, Fort Romeau type bassline and a lead piano reminiscent of the wonderfully deep Albrecht La’Brooy – Encounter.

There are very few certainties in life, however a Roman Flugel remix is more often than not one such certainty. Here he once again demonstrates his almost peerless ability to create deep, intriguing and long lasting club ready beats.
