So far the response to our 14th record has been really exciting with Laurent Garnier, Joris Voorn, Tensnake, Carl Craig amongst others all showing their support for the music. Which to be honest is a huge relief as you’re never quite sure if the rest of the world (internet) will agree with your enthusiasm for the music. Admittedly Fortunate War’s sound is probably not on message with a lot of whats out there, sorry, but when you’ve got greats such as those mentioned above giving it a seal of approval, who cares…
‘Albany’ is the closing track on the EP and can be best described as an ember flickering, sun setting closer that smothers you in a satisfying patchwork of interlaced textures. Nothing like a bit of flowery language to set the scene..enjoy!
