India Jordan – And Groove [Watch Out EP] follows 2020’s highly acclaimed single ‘For You’ with more grooving disco house badness. ‘For You’ was ranked Resident Advisor’s No.1 track of 2020, Crack Magazine’s second and Pitchfork’s twenty first – it doesn’t get much better than that. Although such success does bring to mind the statement – “no pressure”. So has the pressure told?

Well we’re pleased to report the answer is no. Although we’re yet to hear the entire ‘Watch Out EP’ lead single ‘And Groove’ suggests India Jordan and her new EP are more than comfortable with the increased expectation bestowed upon them. ‘And Groove’ is funky, catchy and feel good, much like ‘For You’ was. There’s no accompanying rave riff this time, not that that’s a problem, leaving the focus on the lush keys, french house stylings and looping vocal. Feels a little like Tour Maubourg meets Caribou.
