Battery Powered aren’t just fellow DJs from Brighton but they also contribute to this blog so it makes sense that we’d keep an eye on them when they started producing tracks. Their latest effort, ‘Who Needs Love’ has really caught our ear. They’ve created a house track that builds ferociously to a classic 80s vocal before dropping into a bouncing bass line. It’s then tickled with snippets of the sample and topped with some peeping synths.
