Eighth in the series is for those that love the likes of Jon Hopkins, Boards of Canada, Four Tet before he went clubbing, and other such similar artists.

‘Sore’ is a deep and dreamy slice of downtempo electronic beats. On the surface it’s a smooth and relaxing composition that balances melancholy and optimism in such a way that you don’t come away feeling totally depressed. Something chilled down producers can often invoke, not here. Scratch beneath the surface and those of us who like our beats multi layered and nuanced will also be satisfied. We’d also recommend checking his single ‘Bloom’.

Gryr is definitely an artist to keep an eye on.
