After a long night watching the election whilst trying to scour the internet for fresh new music, I came up dissapointed on both counts, with a political system and an itunes account both lacking fresh ideas…so it was quite a relief checking my feeds today to find Pelski’s latest post has brought my attention to the emerging UK producer, Cottam. In Pelski’s words think “rough vintage percussion topped by delicious African vocals: funky, elated and impossibly upbeat”.
