The 2 Bears are made up of Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell (Greco-Roman Soundsystem) and combined they make curious Indie-Electro House. Their EPs combine straight up dance floor Electro House Follow the Bear, Work it Out, Curious Nature, Be Strong alongside more emotive vocal led dance such as The Church, The Lunatic and When am I going to make a Living. On the whole these two styles work, however its the more grizzly synth led tracks that come to the fore, pushing the weaker vocal tracks into the background, having said this Midland’s remix of The Church and TEED’s remix of The Lunatic are superb.
