Like TR there is a strong jazz bass layer that warms things up for the top layer of classic deep houser percussion, groove and vocal. The percussion incisively cuts through the mix with energy whilst the bassline is contrastingly laid back. Sort of record you want to own on vinyl and spin in a low lit back street Manhattan bar. Gorgeous stuff and a definite entry into our ‘BBB Recommends‘ series.
