FaltyDL – The Power (Swamp 81) Preview Go.......second track this year that gets all Moby - Go (Woodtick Remix) on us. First was Citizens sublime 90's homage 'Everything' and now FaltyDL has gone one step further making what we believe is direct use of the original Jocelyn Brown sample, something the FACT crew confirm in their preview of this upcoming record. If you missed the 90's first time round, either because you were born in the 90's, or the 90's are a jumbled mass of memories, then this record has the 'Power' to fill the gaps. FaltyDL – Hardcourage (Album Review) New York based producer Drew Lustman aka FaltyDL, has been skating on the edges of electronic music for the past 4 years. Making impassioned musical leaps from one genre to another, taking in techno, garage, house and even jazz in his formative years. His first 2 albums, 2009's Love Is A Liability and 2011's You Stand Uncertain were well produced but slightly confused affairs. However it seems with his third full length offering, Hardcourage, Drew Lustman has finally found the confidence to settle on a sound he is comfortable calling his own. Hardcourage opens with the playful, 80s ... Read more / Preview track

FaltyDL – Straight and Arrow (Four Tet Remix) Eharmony strikes again with this perfect match of maverick electronic composers. FaltyDL – Mean Streets Part 2 (Swamp81) Swamp81, recently voted as label of the month by Resident Advisor, is a label that is far from modern day conventional when it comes to releasing music. Unlike the majority of electronic labels Swamp81 embraces a more traditional approach by offering vinyl only singles that are encouraged to spark their own natural buzz prior to release, admittedly the word 'limited' is often thrown in to fan the flames, however this is an acceptable tactic in our opinion when you consider that the majority of music in the digital age is so widely available that it rapidly looses its innate ability to ... FaltyDL – Straight and Arrow FaltyDL aka Drew Lustman of New York has been impressing for the last few years with his innovative and imaginative take on electronic music releasing tracks across a variety of labels such as Planet-Mu, Swamp81, Ninja Tune, and Ramp Recordings. Unlike many narrowly focused electronic artists Falty DL's music doesnt confine itself to a chosen genre but rather draws strength from the pioneering sounds of those before and around him. His music typically demonstrates a passion and deep understanding of Hip Hop type sampling, Kraftwerk synth construction and modern day bass and rhythm. His ... Read more / Preview track
