What are your – All Killer No Filler LPs? We’ve listed ours… Recently BBC Radio 6 ran an article on 30 LPs that they considered 'All Killer No Filler'. As you'd expect the list was considerably diverse if perhaps a little obvious in places. Anything from Chemical Brothers through Led Zeppelin to Dolly Parton was considered worthy. Question is what are your Killer No Filler LP's? We've listed ours (see below), and if you're feeling chatty hit up the comment section below and let us know yours. Blah Blah Blah - Killer No Filler LPs (In no particular order) Chemical Brothers - Exit Planet Dust Daft Punk - Discovery (Obvious, but had to go ... Read more / Preview track

ED Banger 100 feat. Justice, Breakbot, Sebastian, Oizo etc So ED Banger has reached its 100th release, and like any label celebrating such a landmark achievement, take yesterdays Dekmantel 10yr 10 EP celebrations, they have gone all out with a fully loaded release schedule. In ED Bangers case they have announced a 17 track compilation, ED Rec 100, featuring the majority of the original ED Banger crew... This release is a bit of a strange one for us. Ultimately much of our record collection between the years of 2005 - 2008 was heavily skewed towards anything the ED Banger crew could throw a distorted synth at. With Uffie - Pop The Glock, Sebastian ... Read more / Preview track

Dance like its 2005: Soulwax – Is It Always Binary Were you lucky enough, like us, to be clubbing between the years 2005-2009? If so, then Soulwax - Is It Always Binary will have you once again donning your finest coloured sneakers and Ed Banger T... Taken from their latest LP Deewee, 12 years post their career highlight, Soulwax - Nite Versions, Is It Always Binary most certainly rocks like its 2005. Striking a pleasingly strong resemblance to Nite Versions - KracK. Unfortunately, as you may have already guessed, it's not 2005. And therefore we have to wonder at the logic of peddling this somewhat bygone sound? In reality this ... Read more / Preview track

Blah Blah Blah Playlists on SPOTIFY – House, Techno, 80’s, Electro, Chill, French Touch… Need another playlist? Who doesn't...Blah Blah Blah's lead writer, label curator and DJ 'Jon E Cassell' has been digging through his iTunes and beyond to compile various playlists for your listening pleasure. Admittedly some of these playlists have a few gaping holes due to vinyl only releases and streaming resistance labels, whilst others may be somewhat surprising in their content. That said, music is music and this is basically Jon's record collection compiled in the traditional mixtape format, well as close as you can get to traditional these days, unfortunately the trusty mid-90's ... MSTRKRFT – Little Red Hen | New Music So MSTRKRFT are back with their first new material since 2011 'Beards Again', which in all honesty we completely missed first time round and having just listened to it, glad we did with its lackluster guitar slashing and generic electro beats. Which means its actually been almost 7 years since their last meaningful contribution, their 2009 LP 'Fist of God'. So what to expect from a revitalised MSTRKRFT? For those who dont know their history MSTRKRFT have been with us since their 2006 debut 'The Looks' and like many breaking artists of that time they got caught up in the swirling ... Erol Alkan – Illumination EP (Phantasy) Preview + Pre-Order Erol for us is a bit of a father figure, like us he started out as as a promoter / DJ with quality music at the core of everything he did. Trash his legendary Monday night at 'The End', for us, rendered many a Tuesday inoperable, with fond recollections of getting the 6am train back home, with a 20 minute turnaround before heading to my less than motivating 22 grand job in the city. It also should be noted that Trash inspired us to launch BBB in 2007. As the electro scene took hold of the UK in 05-07, Erol quickly established himself as the go to man for all things shoved under the banner ... Read more / Preview track

Boys Noize “Ich R U” (Justice Remix) Seems strange to be posting an Electro type track, probably been almost 3 years since something like this has really caught our interest. But when you get Boys Noize and Justice on the same release it's a bit like an old flame getting in contact and stirring up long forgotten fond memories. For us the new Boys Noize material has been a bit too Skrillex in sound, where as this remix is very much Justice doing their best Daft Punk Tron impression. To further enhance this package Alex Ridha informs us that another act we hold very close to our hearts the 'Chemical Brothers' are also on this ... Read more / Preview track

Boy 8-Bit – We Move By Night EP (Blood Music) For those of you who were with us in 2007 and havent since sacrificed clubbing in favour of responsibility will know that we have always admired the work of messers Fake Blood and Boy 8-Bit. However it has to be said that in the last couple of years we havent been playing much of their music as it hasnt had the panache of previous work, I guess partly due to the electro scene shrinking in popularity and old themes sounding a little tired, and therefore it was with equal measures of hope and trepidation that we downloaded the latest Boy 8-Bit release via Fake Blood's 'Blood Music' imprint. ...
