Hot City Feat. MC DT – Twist One of favourite artists of the moment Hot City are back with another slice of dance floor garage mayhem, Twist. Featuring the vocals of MC DT, who you may remember from 'Pied Piper and the Masters of Ceremonies' hit - Do you really like it. Personally wasnt a fan of that tune, however DT's vocals compliment this tune perfectly, creating a fun dance floor vibe that doesnt take itself too seriously but will have everyone bouncing. File alongside DJ Zinc - Wile Out meets Artful Dodger. HOT CITY feat MC DT - Twist from Paddy Power on ... Read more / Preview track

House Music – A Soul Thing House Music has been with us since the early 80's most famously originating in Chicago and Detroit, USA. Since the 80's House has become arguably the most prevalent and dominant source of Dance music in Clubs the world over, shifting through various hybrids but in the main combining a solid 4/4 beat with funky overtones and vocal refrains. In recent times we have seen the emergence of Electro, Tech and Fidget House. These genres were off shoots from the more popularized commercial House and quickly resonated with a more underground indie audience, an audience including ourselves that shied ... Gold Panda – Lucky Shiner (Album Review) On paper Gold Panda's debut has a lot going for it. We thought, therefore, that it was about time to check it out for ourselves. 'Lucky Shiner' is a patient album. It is the result of a patient life. Taking in influences from a two year period spent studying Japanese culture, language and history at the School of Oriental and Asian studies in Japan. It's loaded with family history, ... Daft Punk – Legacy I remember when the hype was building for the 'Discovery' album and the internet was awash with fake Daft Punk sounding tracks, and unsurprisingly the hype around the TRON release has been no different with many a false dawn over the last few months. There is no denying that Daft Punk are the master builders of hype and fevered anticipation, but I for one have got a little tired of this overly drawn out saga and upon listening to the most recent official clip (admittedly its only 20 seconds long) 'Derezzed' I am know a little concerned as to what to expect from the final soundtrack. Hopefully ... Read more / Preview track
