Mumdance

Future star Mumdance hits Digital on Thursday 3rd December to support Major Lazer as part of our next huge Blah Blah Blah party. Mumdance, real name Jack Adams, has enjoyed some great success in 2009 with his profile going from strength to strength of the back of his remixes for the likes of Radioclit, Evil Nine and The Whip. A particular highlight would have to be his colloboration with French superstar Brodinski on the baile-tech influenced "Eurostarr" which was released on Southern Fried and featured great remixes from Nic Sarno and Zombie Disco Squad.



Jack has capped on a fine year with a mix for BBB 1Xtra and his "Kerplunk Remix" of Maximo Park, which he kindly passed our way to share with you. If you are wondering what a "Kerplunk Remix" is, then give it a listen and all will become clear. With the latter half of the mix showing off his ear for deeper grooves, it would seem that Mumdance is an artist whose sound is only just beginning to take shape and definitely one to look out for in 2010.

Sound Pellegrino AKA Teki Latex and Orgasmic of TTC fame was launched earlier this year, and with a string of impressive releases throughout the latter part of the year has probably made Sound Pellegrino the most hyped and exciting label of 2009. The success of this label is un-doubtley down to the keen ear of its two creators who have successfully nutured a very clear sound for the label that is both minimal and groovy whilst at the same time sounding unique. To back up there impressive rosta of artists: Harvard Bass / L-Vis 1990 / Gucci Vump (Allegedly Brodinski) / Nouveau Yorican / Solo and Renaissance Man they have striking imagery to go with each release and have also recorded three bootylicious mixtapes.

Zinc - Crack House EP (Out Now)

Zinc recently traded his Drum n Bass riddims for a more Electro / House type sound and this transition has had the likes of Annie Mac et al dropping his tunes all over the place. In particular Watch Dis and Blunt Edge seemed to resonate with dance floors across the nation and to cement this early success Zinc has just released his 10 track Crack House EP. Not only does this EP contain the fore-mentioned bangers but it also contains 8 more huge records including a new version of his classic 138 Trek.

WeAreBlahBlahBlah EP21 - Mixed by NT89

NT89's tracks have already been supported and played by the likes of Tiga, Erol Alkan, The Bloody Beetroots, Shinichi Osawa, Jaymo & Andy George and us (if that counts?) to name a few, and released several highly esteemed remixes and original tracks. His popular remixes of ZZT "The Worm", and Tiga's "Mind Dimension" killed dancefloors the world over and captured the attention of Tiga who decided to put the Mind Dimension remix on his new album "Ciao!" (Japanese edition). NT89 is also Bloody Beetroots studio assistant and recently released the official remix for Turbo recordings Noob & Brodinski hit "Peanuts Club". He has just signed for Southern Fried and is about to release his first EP 'Poopa & Dooma', and if you havent heard it yet you need to check NT89 & Distrakt - Pumpin (Beataucue remix) literally pumpin......
