Burns 3 – The ‘Teknique’ EP >Rapidly emerging local hero (Brighton, UK) Burns follows up his Turbo EP with the schizophrenic and dancefloor destroyer Teknique. Teknique the lead track manages to combine club house in the vain of Surkin White Knight, with Daft Punk filter before descending into a bleeping distorted Boys Noize type breakdown. However despite all the obvious comparisons used to describe the track Burns is his own man and is rapidly crafting his own distinctive mark on the broad electro scene with the likes of A-Trak, Fake Blood and Zombie Nation all packing his tracks. Track List A1. Teknique B1. ... Read more / Preview track

Fake Blood – Fix your Accent EP Fake Blood exploded on the scene with the massive track Mars, which will no doubt be part of dance folk lore in years to come. Since then Mr Blood has been smashing out the remixes for the likes of Little Boots, Underworld, Dan Le Sac, Gossip to name a few.....but what we have all been waiting for is his follow up to Mars. Sensibly Fake Blood has let the dust settle on his enigma and the massive Mars anthem before releasing new material, therefore allowing the new EP to stand on its own rather than being compared to Mars and all the hype surrounding his persona at that time. The EP is ... Read more / Preview track

Nadastrom – The Saved EP (Dubsided) Nadastrom aka Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom turn out their next EP for Dubsided following on from the huge success of their debut Pussy ep on Dubsided at the end of last year. This is a great little package with the stand out track for me being Squarez. Squarez kicks of with a siren looping yeh sound and a thumping 4/4 beat before dropping into a rolling techno groove with an electro twist.....top stuff and hugely effective on the floor. The Saved EP - Nadastrom A1: Save Us B1: Squarez B2: Ghetto Pass Nadastrom - B1 Squarez ... Read more / Preview track

D.I.M & TAI – Lyposuct Despite the imminent release of his second album Alex Ridha has still managed to find time to keep the releases coming from his Boys Noize label, and this time round it see's the return of D.I.M. D.I.M has been a bit quiet of late but this is a true return to form with the likes of Tiga, and Brodinski charting this track. Personally I prefer the Noob remix which we charted this month. All in all a great electro, tech track that could only come from a Boys Noize release. D.I.M & TAI - Lyposuct (Preview) ... Read more / Preview track

Boys Noize – Power Boys Noize is back with his long awaited second album entitled POWER. It’s release October 5th will show how far Alex Ridha has come as a producer since “Oi Oi Oi”. Though his signature sound is still present the approach is more experimental and versatile. This is a new kind of techno that encompasses elements of both rave and minimal but also the kind of inspired beats that would make hip hop producers drool. Power” is precision tooled techno from an artist at the top of his game.   The POWER launch party, presented by Bugged Out, takes place at London’s Fire on ... Read more / Preview track
